EU-funded regional growth project One Stop Future Shop – aiming to boost new entrepreneurs in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. A one stop shop for the support of entrepreneurs, start-ups and business development in the Gothenburg region.
One Stop Future Shop started on the 1st of January 2016, and we opened the doors to the business center in May 2016 on Vårväderstorget 1 in Biskopsgården, Gothenburg. The project offers business advice, seminars, workshops and other supporting activities for start-ups and businesses in the Gothenburg region. All activities are free of charge. There is also a strong focus on sustainability and social entrepreneurship.
One Stop Future Shop is the largest collaborations project within the European Regional Development Fund in the west of Sweden.
The project is unique in its combination of being located out of the city centre and offering business support for free in over six languages: Swedish, English, Arabic, Persian/Farsi, French and Maltese.
We also customize our activities to appeal to female, young and foreign born entrepreneurs. But we emphasize that anyone with a business idea or in need of business development is welcome.
The long term goal of One Stop Future Shop is to contribute to make the Gothenburg region and especially Hisingen into an entrepreneurial and business-friendly place for all – and that more people become self-providing.
Partnerships and collaboration
The project is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund in collaboration with several partners:
The City of Gothenburg through the boroughs based on Hisingen Island (SDF Västra Hisingen, SDF Lundby, SDF Norra Hisingen), AB Göteborgslokaler, Lokalförvaltningen, Business Region Gothenburg, The Red Cross and the University of Gothenburg (Sahlgrenska school of innovation and entrepreneurship).
We conduct active collaboration with regional, national and international organisations. Please contact One Stop Future Shops Project Manager, Daniela Ölmunger, if you are interested to cooperate with us.
